Faeru is designed as a browser-first service for astrology, tarot, lunar timing, and related symbolic tools. Core chart calculations, saved state, tarot readings, and everyday interactions can remain primarily on your device unless you share a link, export a result, send us a message, or otherwise move information outside your browser. The site still uses ordinary infrastructure, including Vercel hosting and Yandex Metrica analytics, so limited technical and usage data may be processed to operate, protect, and improve the service.

Faeru is a browser-first service created by Sergei Solod. It combines natal charts, tarot, lunar phases, retrograde calendars, interpretations, and daily sky pages without making accounts or unnecessary backend storage the center of the experience.
The core design principle is simple: where practical, the main experience should remain local, direct, and understandable. Ordinary chart calculations, tarot readings, saved tool state, and related result browsing are designed to run in or stay tied to your browser rather than becoming a heavy server-side account system by default.
For the main tools, an account is not required. In ordinary use, birth details, chart state, recent readings, saved presets, local preferences, and similar browser-side state may remain on your device through local browser mechanisms until you clear them, overwrite them, reset the browser, or intentionally share the result in some other way.
This privacy model reduces unnecessary collection; it does not pretend that no data ever exists outside your device. The site is still delivered through web infrastructure, uses Vercel hosting, and may use Yandex Metrica, cookies, browser storage, and similar technical mechanisms to understand page usage, traffic, reliability, and service quality.
If you deliberately use a shared link, save a stateful URL, send feedback, open a contact path, or otherwise expose data outside your device, the privacy outcome changes. Information included in a URL, copied into a message, or transmitted through a third-party destination may become visible outside the local browser workspace.
This policy therefore distinguishes between two different layers: first, the local symbolic and calculation tools that are designed to stay in your browser wherever practical; and second, the ordinary technical, analytics, support, and infrastructure processing that may still occur in connection with operating the site.
Depending on the tool, local state may include birth date, birth time, timezone, birth place details, selected chart settings, house-system assumptions, current reading context, tarot spread state, saved interpretation context, daily page preferences, and similar information you choose to enter or preserve in the interface.
Faeru is not designed as a cloud memory vault for deeply personal spiritual journals or confidential archives. If you choose to enter highly sensitive information into any symbolic or reflective tool, you remain responsible for deciding whether your device, browser environment, extensions, clipboard behavior, and sharing practices are suitable for that level of sensitivity.
Where a tool offers continuity through a link, saved browser state, or a result-preserving address, you should assume that any information embedded in that path may be copied, shared, stored in browser history, captured in screenshots, or exposed to systems that can read page addresses. Do not use shared links for secrets, credentials, private tokens, or other information that should never appear in a link.
By continuing to use Faeru, you acknowledge that the service tries to minimize unnecessary backend dependence in its core tools, but that no browser-based experience, hosting stack, analytics layer, or device environment can be treated as absolutely private or risk-free in every circumstance.
